Minimum qualifications:
- You are a citizen of the Republic of Moldova or have continuously resided in the country for at least 5 years during your lifetime.
- At the beginning of the 2026-27 school year you are in the 9th, 10th, or 11th grade in high school or in vocational school. You are not graduating from high school this year or currently attending university.
- You were born between 31st July 2009 - 1st September 2011.
- You possess Romanian language skills and historical/cultural awareness of the country. We welcome students of all cultural, socioeconomic, ethnical, and personal backgrounds. We do not demand proficiency in either language or culture, but deciding to apply through the Moldovan National Committee and be selected to represent the Republic of Moldova, you must be willing to use your current knowledge and rise up to the challenge to learn more about your host country and its language and history.
If your birthday lies closely to the above interval (June 2009 - July 2009 or September - October 2011), reach out to us to inquire about an age exemption. Exemptions might not be granted to everyone. We reserve the right not to process applications of students receiving an exemption. The age criteria are strictly set and monitored by the colleges. Any miscommunication of the birthdate upon application submission is subject to immediate application dismissal.
Application deadline: October 1st, 2026, 12:00pm (noon) Eastern European Summer Time (EEST).
Any plagiarism, usage of other people’s help or forgery, will lead to immediate elimination from the selection process.
