Thank you for your interest in making an application to 18 UWCs through UWC Hong Kong, including Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong.
The UWC movement seeks students who want to become change-makers for a better world - no matter their socio-economic, religious, national, ethnic or cultural background. Deadlines:
First Round Application Cycle: August 2026 - 1 October 2026
Second Round Application Cycle: 2 October 2026 - 9 December 2026
Third Round Application Cycle: 10 December 2026 - rolling
For 2027 intake, we will be receiving applications in multiple rounds. Students who submit a full application form by the First Round deadline of 1 October 2026 will be considered first. Applications completed after the Third Round deadline of 9 December 2026 will be considered on a rolling (first-come first-served) basis. Students are encouraged to submit their complete applications as soon as possible.
Important Notes & Selection Timeline:
- Selected Candidates will be invited to interview during Challenge Day, July 31st 2027
- March 2027 onwards: Results announced + Official Offer Letters sent
- August 2027: Join LPC / Term begins
Eligibility:
To qualify as an applicant through UWCHK, you will need:
- a) To hold a Hong Kong Permanent ID Card OR dependent visa OR special visa through the Top Talent Pass (TTPS), Quality Migrant Admission (QMAS), or Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents and Professionals (ASMTP) scheme; AND
- b) To be currently studying in Secondary 4 / Secondary 5 (or its equivalent) as of September 2026.
A complete application includes:
- Application Form
- Parent Statement - to be completed by parents
- Recommendation Form - to be completed online by references who knows you well but are not your relatives or friends. (They could be your school teachers, coaches or trainers for outside school activities.)
- Last 2 year school reports
- HKID
- A passport-size photo
- Passport copies
