Generic Info about the Application Process
The UWC movement seeks students who want to become change-makers for a better world - no matter their socio-economic, religious, national, ethnic or cultural background. If you are a passionate learner, excited at the prospect of studying and living with young people from around the world, UWC is for you. Wherever you are from, whatever your background - if the UWC mission for a more peaceful and sustainable future inspires you, apply to UWC!
A complete application includes:
- NRC/Identification card
- Passport copies (optional)
- Household registration/census
- School Report/Transcript
- 1 Essay and 2 short questions (See the questions in the application form)
- Record a short video, approximately 1-2 minutes long, showing your face and speaking in English. (File size less than 50 MB - see the video prompt in the application form)
- Academic Reference (to be completed online by references who know you well but are not your relatives or friends. They could be your schoolteachers, coaches)
- Non-Academic Reference (to be completed online by references who know you well but are not your relatives or friends. They could be your schoolteachers, coaches, or trainers for outside school activities.)
- First Parent / Guardian Information and Authorization (to be completed online by guardian.)
- Second Parent / Guardian Information and Authorization (to be completed online by guardian.) (optional)
Eligibility Criteria
- Be Myanmar citizens
- Aged 15 - 18 (Between July 31, 2006 - August 16, 2010)
- Completed or Studying Grade 10 or 11 (any established system or ethnic education system)
- Have a valid personal e-mail address to apply
