Note that the deadline is 30th September 2026 at 11:59pm PST. The financial aid form filled by your parent/guardian will also have to be submitted BEFORE this deadline.

We are looking for motivated and passionate young individuals who are eager to contribute to a diverse and dynamic learning environment. To apply through our UWC national committee (intake for 2027), you must meet the following criteria:

Age requirement

Applicants must be 16 or 17 years old when starting the academic year at UWC. This is usually the 1st of September, next year.

No exceptions can be made if you are aged over 18 year when the college term starts. If you are below 16 years of age by next September, we recommend you apply in the following year.

Educational background

At minimum, applicants should have successfully completed at least 10 years of formal education at the time of making the application AND Should be enrolled to complete 11 years of formal education by Sept of the following year, i.e. on path to complete O-Levels, Pre-IB, or 1st Year from any Pakistani or equivalent Board.

A strong academic record is important, but we also value a demonstrated commitment to learning beyond the classroom.

The following minimum grade requirements apply to your academic results:

In case you do not have any one or more of the requested results due to your school not holding mid-term/final examinations or your circumstances of being a private candidate for a Board system, you may upload a written note explaining the circumstances for each missing set of results, and the Reviewer will take that into consideration.


 residency and nationality

Candidates applying through UWC Pakistan must be:

  • Pakistani Citizen (dual nationality is not an issue), AND
  • Resident of Pakistan at the time of application (IF DUAL NATIONAL)

If you do not meet these criteria, you may be eligible for the International Application Pathway (IAP). This program is not managed by UWC Pakistan and we cannot help with any inquiries related to the IAP program.

While academic excellence is important, UWC seeks students who exhibit:

Language Requirements

UWC schools and colleges primarily use English as the language of instruction. While fluency is not required at the time of application, applicants are advised to attain a basic proficiency in English and demonstrate a willingness to improve their language skills.
